I just watched your documentary “Heckler” and I felt compelled to contact you to applaud your efforts and great work on the film. Your film was thought-provoking and extremely well-made and the underlying theme of the film resonated with me and it made me remember a post I made to IMDB a few months back after being disgusted and overwhelmed by the horrible things people so freely posted there. I just want to strongly applaud your film and I think that it reveals so much of your inner-strength and character to so openly and freely address an upsetting and cruel subject matter with the level of honesty and sensitivity in your documentary. I’m obviously not a movie star and have never experienced the level of scrutiny you do on a daily basis, but I was a Division I football player that to a much lesser degree experienced hostility and fan cruelty, and I think your film addresses so many very important subjects and should be required watching for every heckler, critic and internet message board poster out there.

For whatever it’s worth, I’ve copied and pasted directly here what I posted on IMDB before I knew you had made this documentary. Again, fantastic job on this documentary and I look forward to following your upcoming projects in the future.

    All my best,

    TD Catlin

    Tara Reid

Unbelievably cruel posts by so many of you

I literally just signed up to IMDB because I randomly opened up Tara Reid’s ‘message board’ after looking up the name of another actress in "American Reunion " and I was disturbed by the numerous mean-spirited and cruel posts about her by so many people. Why do you people think it’s alright to say these awful things about a woman you’ve never met?? Internet bullies like you all should feel ashamed of yourselves and should really look at yourself and question why you think it’s appropriate to utterly trash this actress none of you know personally. It’s just not nice and is wrong on so many levels to say such horrendous things about a woman who has never done a thing to you. Hiding behind the anonymity of the internet is unbelievably cowardly and I’m sure makes so many of you say these horrible things without thinking of the repercussions or consequences of your words. Just because Tara Reid is an actress doesn’t mean that she should be ‘fair game’ for all of you Internet trolls that like to pick on others in a manner that very few of you would ever comport yourselves in a “real life” person-to-person interaction. Words like so many of yours do have an impact that many of you apparently choose to ignore, and after my best friend’s nineteen year old younger sister (the sweetest, kindest girl you could ever meet) attempted suicide last month after her ex-boyfriend viciously attacked her on Facebook and Twitter, I feel compelled to speak out when I read comments like so many of yours. I hope Ms. Reid never sees the cruel things posted here, but, I’m sure she has. I hope she is stronger than I would be if I was in her shoes, because it upset me just reading some of the things written on this message board, and I think all of you should be ashamed of yourselves. Leave her alone. If complete strangers attacked you like you have her, I can’t imagine any of you would feel good about yourself. Message boards filled with such cruelty and negativity disgust me and make me wish I’d never opened this link in the first place. Words like so many of yours do have repercussions, and it’s just not fair or right for anyone to bully anyone else so unmercifully—especially when the one doing the bullying is hiding behind the anonymity of the internet. I hope at least a few of you read this and think twice before sending out another post like those I read today.

Jamie is the big source of the entertainment. Dedication is the first thing you need to have when looking to achieve something Big. He is not only a good actor but also a good coworker and the partner. I was reading that he love’s to sit with the crew members for making some interesting chat. Stay Blessed.

Also, I would love to see you if you come to Charlotte in the somewhat near future. However, with a production schedule like you obviously have, I’m sure a stand-up tour isn’t even on the back burner.

I haven’t really seen much of your work since Malibu’s Most Wanted and JKX. I don’t really watch much of anything really. I’m glad to see you in a very different role, from what I have seen before, as a psychopath in 4Closed, which I just found out about on this site and isn’t available to stream on Netflix. People give you, Carrot Top, and Matthew McConaughey a lot of undeserved flak. I have heard a bunch of crap about you 3 guys for a long time and I just don’t get it. Carrot Top and you are funny and Matthew is a good actor. Rolling with Saget was one of the funniest clips I have ever seen. I kind of wish Bob had more of a vocal part in it, but it was hilarious. I don’t recognize the other guy with you, Stu I think was his name. Nice flow coming out of him. I loved seeing Bob Saget b****slap Terry Crews.

I just gave your IMDB list a look over and all I can say is, whoa. You have done a lot more than I thought you had. Nice to see that you have about 10 items in postproduction right now.

Hello Jamie, i was hoping to email you this message, but found your site instead. Hopefully you’ll read these comments, and if you want to get back at me that’d be great.

My name is Diego Zuberbuhler, I live in Argentina, and I have been following your work for some time. Today I watched your documentary Heckler, and I have to say that you did an amazing job at it. And I do mean great. Kudos man.

I honestly think you are a very smart man, and I find you very funny when you are being yourself off camera. I do have to say that even though I watched the Jamie Kennedy Experiment, Malibu and Son of the Mask, I didnt really like any of them. No particular reason… I dont like Key Lime Pie that much either. With son of the mask in particular, I guess it felt like the movie was trying too hard to be funny or whatever, but in all honesty, i respect you very much as a person and as a comedian, since… Hell, i wasnt in a multimillion dollar movie, and you were, so fuck my opinion.

I love comedy, and as expected, I find some comedians funnier than others, so when I gave it a shot, went on stage and recorded my “hilarious act”… I sucked balls man. As soon as I got off stage, I was confident I had been great. I wasnt. I cringed at the sight of me being funny.

So, screw anyone who gives you shit… Let them leave their minimun wage job for an hour and do something great for a change, and have the balls to upload it to youtube for you to “review” them.

There is something about you, and watching this documentary was a real pleasure… You being honest, getting upset about lame ass reviews, being human about it… Man, I got to tell you, THAT is something I respect. You’ve got some balls, and even though the modern world is an overglorified critic… They havent done half of what you’ve accomplished. So once again, Kudos man.

    TLDR :)

I was reading the the biography of the Jamie Kennedy. Few of people know that he struggled so hard to achieve the goals he set in his life and still looking to achieve more success. When reading the about JK its look like that reading some fairy tails and at the end everything is going to be fine.He Spent countless nights to find the success in the starting of his career. We can say he is the real star who make himself capable of being called an actor. http://goo.gl/LyYe1O appreciate his efforts and say thanks to him to give inspiration of new generation. Without no doubt his performance always is the glittering Star.

Years ago I was skiing & checking out the Comedy festival in Aspen, Colorado. I saw a lot of great comedians that week (Dave Chepelle) but had no idea JK was going to be there. One day I was taking a shortcut home & saw Jamie in the lobby of the St.Regis. I really wanted to compliment him on his work, (love the Jamie Kennedy Experiment) & say hi. He looked busy & their were a lot of reporters around and I wasn’t sure if it would be appropriate. I saw a friend in the lobby, who told me it would be ok to go over and say hi. My friend walked over with me and took the picture. Jamie was really funny, cute and genuine in person. The next day, I was going to ask my friend to show me the picture but he had already posted it on his website. (His website is awesome…like a small version of a E News Hollywood Website called Aspen Spin.) I laughed so hard when I saw the picture…Jamie put his arm around my shoulder and grabbed his crotch.
    Thank you Jamie

    Hello Jamie,
I just watched your movie Heckler. That was one of the greatest documentaries I have ever watched. I have always been a huge fan of all things comedy. I love seeing interviews with comedians where they don’t do their act and just let their true feelings show. It was like you took all of my favorite comedians and put them all in one film. Its easy to be some jackoff in your mothers basement coming up with witty remarks tearing someone down but to do what you and the others in the film do is hard. I have nothing but respect for you. I would imagine that this was a harder film to make then any comedy you have filmed. Dude great job and keep on keepn on!

    Greetings Mr. Kennedy,
I have recently viewed your film on Hecklers / Critics and must say I found it to be very insightful and entertaining, I am not really familiar with a lot of your work but I shall be in the future, BECAUSE the critics have been so ungrateful for your hard work their opinion ( or lack of ) makes me want to now see all of your past work. I’ve learned that if a critic is trashing your work than it must be worth seeing as I place the opinions of critics below that which comes out of the bad end of my dog.

Thank you for taking the time to create this piece of work, I loved it and the critics intention of trashing your body of work has only back fired in their face, those who can, DO, those who can’t become critics, just a bunch of wannabe hacks in my book!

I wish you the very best and do yourself a big favor and STOP reading anything ANY critic has to say about you or your work,
sign me, A new Jamie Kennedy fan.
